We got on the road about an hour later than planned but made good time. Kasie (my wife) hasn’t been feeling to great the past couple of days and got progressively worse throughout the 13 hour drive.

I worked from the back seat for most of the trip and was surprisingly very productive. The change in scenery made creativity and motivation come easier.

We arrived at the hotel in Dallas around 9pm, Kasie and my mom went straight to bed, neither one of them feeling well. My dad and I unpacked and got some tacos from Taco Cabana. It was a little better than Taco Bell but we weren’t expecting much, just wanted something fast.

Sleep will be amazing since I only got 2.5 hours last night.
